Notes

Lengthy pre show party plan made for a slightly more stressful entry today, compounded by falling for the not so express AAA line scam. Walked in at 7 on the dot. Did the hug, shake, and howdy with a gaggle of folks while sauntering in to our seats: 202L 22-23 dead center, a few rows behind the SBD. Should sound darn good here!

  • Weir averts a train wreck ending on Iko by insisting on repeating the closing until they got it kind of right.
  • Minglewood kind of plodding
  • Ship of Fools was sweet, especially with Oteil's high verses
  • Let It Grow delivered big on the jammed out ending
  • Scammed my way into 101 J for the second set: the experience is so much better being up close!
  • The extra long split in China/Rider was a big surprise.
  • Days Between was delivered with plenty of pathos
