A 3/4 reunion of T.J.Kirk, playing some of that band's material? Oh yeah! The only question in my mind when I saw the announcement for these shows was “both nights or just one”, and that problem was answered by the conflict of previously purchased tickets for yesterday's show. One is the answer. Just enough!

Andrew Gilbert posted a review of the first part of Wednesday's Ivy Room show at SFCV.

Both nights have been posted to the live music archive: tonight and yesterday. Seems like the setlists were almost identical. Set two on the archive has labels somewhat different from what I give above; I'm probably wrong, but I'm going to leave my original notes in place until I have time to listen and compare against some sort of reference recording (James Brown! Thelonius Monk! Rahsaan Roland Kirk! TJ Kirk?).
