Notes

After seeing the show, it's easy to understand why Hamilton has been so popular – the show is really quite good!

While standing on Market Street after the show, I was amused to overhear two twenty-somethings talk about their likes and dislikes. The funniest comment? “Oh, the singing was great, but there was too much history and politics.” Uh, yep!

Like usual, the timing above should be taken with a grain of salt – sometimes I marked time based on the conductor's cue, but other times it's because I belatedly realized that they'd flowed into a new tune. Further complicating things, annotation of scenes or interstitial dialog was completely omitted from the program setlist, so I can't really explain the crazy, mixed-up mess any better than what I've listed above.
