Interesting. Looks like I went back and fixed things up from my day-of-show setlist notes, but then failed to write a review or post anything here on the wiki.

Well dang! How's a guy supposed to remember something that happened more than a few months ago once his aged synapses are soused and fried?

At this point, I can pull together only a few scattered thoughts regarding this event:

• We walked in from a parking lot over a mile away, hoping that would be a good way to beat the traffic mess on the in out (and avoid the scam of $60 parking up closer to the venue). Our plan worked (except that we probably lost any time savings in all that walking)!
• Security to get in was kinda tight – Ting needed a second try to bring in her pocket camera – even though it was clearly on the list of allowed items.
• Despite being a huge event, we ran into a fair number of friends… several were even seated in our same section of the stadium.
• Vista Kicks gave it a good try; I'd go see them again for free sometime.
• The main event was truly a giant spectacle. Almost like opera or kabuki in the degree of hyper-exaggerated activity. Plus lots of costume changes.
• As much as I liked the show, and loved hearing the many hits, I thought the sound mix was kinda strange. Too busy! Like, “Oh, time for a piano solo?” and then whoosh! The piano goes from being barely audible to really dominating the mix. I thought the effect was quite distracting.
• All in all, I'd probably go see them again … I hear they'll be back here in 2021!
