8:10 PM and only 30-40 people in the house. Guess we're gonna have plenty of dancing space tonight. Shouldn't complain about that!

Nice to have time to chit chat with the other early birds too: it's funny how many folks we get to see, but then don't take time to really interact with. Easy to be lazy instead of strengthening or reestablishing old connections!

Reading the setlist, I think most any fan would say, “Holy Crap, I shoulda been there!,” and well yeah, you shoulda! There's no substitute for getting your shit together and congregating with like minded maniacs. And while tonight was lots of fun, it wasn't the sort of show I would use to try and recruit new fishes to the pool – it just didn't radiate enough. I'm guessing that between travel weariness and the light crowd, the boys were thrown off their A-game. Am I glad I made it? Heck yeah! Was it a show for the ages? Well, nah… but you can't really expect every night to be an epic adventure, can you?
