Notes

First set was hot! Short but solid. Completely unhurried: very much a '73 vibe IMHO, but that don't mean much. Nice group energy! A few folks that I talked to at break whined about the long breaks between songs, or the lack of segue, but c'mon, it was the first set … you can't just launch everyone into deep space from the get go. Sometimes it's nice to stop and take a look at the scenery first!

Set two was also great fun, but with completely different energy (newer songs, faster tempos, plenty of jamming). I'm glad I could be there for the fun!

Fender has a nifty little article about the Alligator guitar posted on their website; Jambase reports that Stu and Lebo played on it at the 3/1 show too.
