 Traffic is all messed up in the 80/580 interchange for (the usual Saturday morning/afternoon disaster), so we try zig zagging across Berkeley to save time, only to end up stuck at a railroad crossing for five minutes while a long freight train rumbles by. Sometimes you just can't win! Happily for us we end up first in line, even though we don't arrive until 10 or 15 minutes before the gate time.
