Notes

Tonight's Grateful Monday was a darn fun way to start off the week! Traffic was pretty non-existent, so even though we got a late start (sometimes it's hard to get out of work early!), we still managed to get to Terrapin fifteen or twenty minutes before the doors opened. And the weather today was just exactly perfect: warm enough for shorts and a tank, with just a hint of cool breeze to keep things from getting too hot out in the sun. Turnout today was pretty good. I don't think the show was a sellout, but it was plenty crowded.

I was super psyched to get Crazy Fingers in set one: I love the lazy afternoon lilt of that song! Might As Well was a strong follow-up: gotta keep the party rolling, after all. Set break was really short today: I'm guessing that break might have been a concession to the race against darkness, as the house crew spent most of the period putting out additional lighting. The last half of the second set was a total hoot: it had cooled off quite a bit by this time, but dancing up a storm seemed to work great for staying warm! I sure hope we can get a couple more events like this in before Terrapin shuts down!
