Notes

Today's event was advertised as a garage sale with live music, and that's pretty much exactly what it was. Several hundred people lined up early in the morning to scour the bins for bargains, while others showed up for one more day in the park with our fellow Terrapin peeps.

The audience scene was remarkably subdued today – perhaps the garage sale was too distracting? Or more likely, there were only a hundred odd folks out for the show (but 700+ looking for a deal).

Between my late entry to the venue (way back in line with the folks who showed up less than an hour before the gate time), the slow lap I took to review the offerings, and the v-e-r-y long wait in the checkout line to buy the stuff collected by Ting, I managed to miss the start of the music. Drat! Should have been paying more attention and thought to jump into the checkout line earlier! Oh well, lesson learned, again! I thought I was missing one or more tunes from the start in my setlist, but since TJ's archive recording shows otherwise, I guess all I missed was getting time info. Lucked out!

For late November, we got perfect weather: chilly in the morning, but warming nicely throughout the day – to the point that shorts and a tank would have been reasonable for an hour or so – then cooling off again as the sun dropped and then set.

Mark & Mookie made for a nice combo: I was really glad we motivated to get out for one more play date in the park!
