Notes

Dang these folks are good! As best as I can tell, tonight's setlist is identical to that performed and streamed on 3/14.

I really enjoyed both the performance and the accompanying video projections – those were really well done! I added links in the setlist above to some of the official videos from the DakhaBrakha YouTube channel…unfortunately, none of those match what was shown during the live show. Seems like a missed opportunity (not to share those online), but if you watched the 3/14 SFJAZZ stream or YouTube you got to see snippets of them.

Of course the continuing war casts a pall over the evening: I'm sure it's hard to celebrate life and joy in your art knowing that your friends and countrymen at home face dire circumstances and sudden death at any moment. Hopefully the political situation will improve soon!
