We spend a relaxing day at home: up late after last night's show, then sleep in a little before getting up to do battle with any overnight remnants of the previous week's ant invasions. Fresh coffee, yay! Persimmons with granola and plain yoghurt: simple pleasures!

Six PM, time to leave for the show and less than a mile from the house, I realize I forgot my ear plugs, doh! On the way back, I hear strange things as I cross a couple Bots dots… Weird! Turns out the rear driver's tire is nearly flat. Dang! Must have picked up a nail on the way home last night. Is that the silver lining for 2019? I'm certainly happy that I won't be starting 2020 stranded at West Oakland BART!

We swap cars, then head back to BART. 6:38 PM and we're on the way again.

First set is pretty decent, though most of the endings were sloppy: par for the course these days! Nice song selection: no repeats from the past couple shows. Looking forward to the next set!
