 Oh man, we got a brass party tonight. 90 minutes flew by in a flash! I wouldn't have complained if they'd played a few more tunes, but maybe Lesher has a curfew? Walnut Creek needs to roll up the sidewalks at night? _Snowball_ was my favorite: that wiggly beat makes me want to jump up and boogie around joyfully like the Peanuts kids. Second favorite tonight was _Raid on the Mingus House Party_ -- Mingus might get a lot of respect, but you don't hear enough folks doing his tunes, IMHO. This one's a tribute rather than a cover, and it's a darn good one too!
